1. How should I care for the piece I ordered?
I always recommend taking proper care of your order to ensure the best-lasting quality.
For cutting boards, please hand-washed only and oil regularly with a mineral oil.
As with any wooden cutting board, do not use it for cutting raw meat.
For furniture or other pieces, mineral oil it occasionally to re-moisturize the wood if you are noticing any fading or dryness. I personally use scented beeswax in addition for longer-lasting moisture.

2. I want something fixed or refinished, can you do that?
While not my typical work, I am typically able to repair or refinish furniture in special circumstances. I have refinished dining tables, antique buffets and cutting boards, to name a few. Please submit a contact form with some more details and I will let you know if I can help!
3. How long will it take to receive my order?
If you placed an order for a piece that is already made, it will be sent within 5 business days unless otherwise noted. The timeline for custom orders will be provided before your piece is started.
Please note that larger items such as furniture pieces are not available for shipping.

4. How can I preserve my order for the best quality?
There are multiple factors that can affect the quality of your furniture. Sun and heat exposure and humidity levels can cause color variations, drying, cracking or warping. To keep this to a minimum, be aware of furniture placement and exposure. A humidifier or dehumidifier may be helpful, depending on the humidity levels of your home or business.
As with any wooden surface, wipe up any spills as soon as possible and avoid contact with extreme heat, as this may harm the wood permanently.

5. I'm not familiar with the different types of wood, do you have examples?
I am happy to identify any of the woods photographed on our website or to recommend a certain variety that will complement your project. If it would help you to visualize your order, I also have a variety of samples available.
